Young Adults
What is GEORGE? It’s not a place, but a people.
GEORGE is a community of young professionals, both single and married, from in-and-around Nashville who desire to spend time together thinking and talking about God, to learn and laugh and grow together, and to reach beyond ourselves to serve the world around us. Unlike many traditional church meetings or fellowship opportunities, GEORGE is a dynamic gathering of individuals who may describe themselves as “passionate disciples of Jesus” or “committed, questioning Christians” or even “curious and undecided.” GEORGE is committed to growth in Christ-likeness, but you’ll find no pressure to conform to an elusive image of the ideal Christian. Wherever you are in your journey of faith, GEORGE invites you to join in on something really good. Take a look around and give us a shout if you have any questions, or if you’d simply like to learn more about who we are, what we do and whom we follow.

Are you on Facebook? Stay connected with GEORGE members, events, and announcements by joining the group "GEORGE" on Facebook. Invite your friends to join as well.
New Evening Class for Young Adults
Surprised by Hope
Wednesdays April 25 - May 30
6:30pm-7:45pm in the library
The Easter season is the perfect time to deepen our understanding of the hope that we have in the resurrection. In this class for young adults in their 20s and 30s, we will study Bishop Tom Wright's book
Surprised by Hope, which presents a biblical vision of God's future. Christians normally think of the future in terms of "heaven," but the promised reality is far greater: a new heaven and a new earth, a whole new creation. We will gain a vision of God's final new creation and how it can transform our lives right now. You are invited to read along in either
NT Wright's book by the same title or in the shorter
participant's guide.
