Children's Discipleship

Welcome to St. George's!

Our Children’s Discipleship program is called The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and it is offered each Sunday from 10:05-11:05 a.m. during our program year (see Calendar and Seasonal Events). The program year for 2011-12 begins on August 28, 2011 and ends May 13, 2012.

The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a Montessori-based Christian formation program. Each classroom (atrium) is facilitated by a trained teacher (Catechist).

A bi-monthly email is sent to parents so that they will be aware of upcoming presentations your child/ren will be receiving as well as to remind parents of special events. For a listing of these presentations, see The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. If you are not receiving this monthly email and would like to, contact Elizabeth.Nash@stgeorgesnashville.org.

Wish your whole family could be involved in worship?

Wish no longer! Beginning this fall, families will have the opportunity to carry forward and present the elements of wine and bread to the altar rail at the offertory.  It's easy, and the whole family, including young children, may participate.  If interested, please contact the Rev. Marcia King.
