Pastoral Care Ministry Needs You!

 
The Pastoral Care Ministry is in need of more help, so if you are available, willing, or at the very least interested in learning more, please let us know!
 
Inreach Ministry: Help needed with driving fellow parishioners to doctor appointments, etc. Flexible days and hours.
 
Chefs on Call: Cooks needed to help prepare meals to be frozen in the church’s freezer and distributed by those who know of someone in need of a meal. The team meets the first Saturday morning of each month at 9:00am for 2 hours in the Church kitchen.
 
Church Van: Drivers needed to take small groups to and from events, services, etc. Some training required.

 New Pastoral Care Ministry: Caring Connections

Caring Connections: we hope it will do just that—help us to care for and connect with those in our parish family who are unable to be with us for worship and other weekly activities. These men and women are often homebound or in nursing facilities but they are the same people who, a few years ago, were active and vital parts of our parish life. Now is the time for those of us who can to reach out and connect with them as part of the body of Christ.

How will we connect? It could be as simple as a visit, a phone call, or a card each month.

...just call the Shepherd of the Month to get a volunteer to assist you. One day's notice is required.
