St. George’s Institute of Church and Cultural Life sponsors the St. George’s Preaching Series, which invites outstanding guest preachers to Nashville from around the world. Topics address themes at the intersection of Christ and culture. The series provides a way for attendees to deepen faith, enhance a connection to the wider church, and increase outreach to the local community.
The Rev. Dr. Jo Bailey Wells

Jo is the Associate Professor of the Practice of Christian Ministry and Bible, and the Director of Anglican Studies at Duke Divinity School. Her books include God's Holy People: A Theme in Biblical Theology and Isaiah: The People's Bible Commentary Series. She also enjoys devotional writing, seeking to bring the fruits of biblical scholarship to a wider audience within the Church.
The Rt. Rev. Geralyn Wolf

Geralyn has served as the 12th Bishop of The Episcopal Diocese of Rhode Island since February 1996. She is the author of several published anthems, and is author of Down and Out in Providence, detailing her experiences as a homeless person. As a young adult, she played competitive tennis on the national level, and was on the U.S. Field Hockey team that reprsented the USA in Argentina. Wolf serves on several national committees and is the Liturgist for the House of Bishops.

Archbishop of Canterbury (ret.), George Carey

Lord George Carey served as the 103rd Archbishop of Canterbury from 1991 to 2002. Currently, he is chancellor of the University of Gloucestershire and president of the London School of Theology. He is co-chair of the Council of 100, which seeks to bridge the gulf between the Western and Islamic worlds. He is the recipient of 12 Honorary Doctorates and author of 14 books.

The Rt. Rev. Mike Hill

Mike became the 55th Bishop of Bristol for the Church of England in 2003 leading the Diocese into growth. His leadership has increased people's expectation of what God can do through the church in the Diocese of Bristol. He is driven by a desire to "see heaven poplulated" and ot help create the kinds of churches where the sort of people he used to hang out with might have a chance of finding Christ. Mike is an inspirational speaker and has a significant teaching ministry in the UK and further afield.
