Christmas Services
We can't wait to be with you this Christmas. NEW this year is a 10:00am Christmas Eve Eucharist with a children's homily, and a special treat from St. Nicholas.

As we savor the beautiful Advent season, we know there’s a cultural push toward busyness. Take a moment to slow down on Sunday morning by joining the clergy in Hampton Hall at 10:05am for fellowship over steaming mugs of cocoa or coffee.
Be sure to join us at the 8:45am service as our children reenact the beloved Christmas story. We'll share cookies and cocoa after the service in Hampton Hall.
Each year, St. George’s Christmas offering is dedicated to meet a particular need of our neighbors in our community. This year our offering will be split evenly between two initiatives responding to critical needs in our community: The Cookery and B.E. Academy for Girls.
Our partners at Preston Taylor Ministries are gearing up for their annual Christmas Tree Pick Up. For a small donation, volunteers will collect your tree directly from your curb or driveway and recycle it through Metro Nashville’ citywide program. Slots fill up quickly, so act fast. Reserve your spot today!
Join us as we go deep into the structure, theology, and practical significance of Luke’s gospel. Luke’s portrayal of Jesus is remarkable in that it reveals the parabolic teachings of Jesus and his unyielding attention to the sick, the poor, and the brokenhearted. We discover the rich compassion Jesus has on our human condition of fragility and brokenness.
Step into one of Christianity’s largest faith traditions and receive a new story—a rich inheritance of theology, worship, song, and liturgical practice. We encourage you to sign up for the class, even if you are still considering whether to be confirmed.
We'll be volunteering at Community Resource Center for our next service project on Thursday, January 7 at 10:00am. If you can join us, contact Karen Lackey at lackeykab@gmail.com or 615-260-8063.
Prayer and Presence: A Service of Healing and Restoration
Join us for a relaxed and restful time together in the presence of God. We will begin with a short time of singing, Scripture reading, and reflection, followed by an extended time to receive prayer from prayer ministers or to remain in quiet contemplation. We’ll gather the first Wednesday of every month from 7:00 to 8:00pm in the Chapel. Note that in January, we will gather on January 8.
