First Thursdays Each Month: Weavings

Begins September 6th
A study of an essay from the "Weavings" magazine using the Companions format. The topic will be taken from the collection, "Fear Not," copies of which will be made available. To enroll, contact Lynn Ragland via email or call her at 385-2150, x247.


First Thursdays Each Month: Working Women's Group
6:300pm, Bride/Family Room

The Working Women's group meets the first Thursday of each month at 6:30pm in the Bride/Family Room. This is a great group! If you'd like more information or want to join us, please contact Lisa Ellis or Larua Hobson.

Men’s Bible Study

An informal, discussion-driven exploration of various books of the Bible. Currently studying Ephesians.

Homebuilder's Small Groups for Married Couples
The Homebuilders Groups, open to married coules of all ages at any stage of married life, typically meet every other week throughout the fall in each other's homes. If you are interested in joining a group, please contact The Rev. Tony Welty via email or by calling 385-2150, x215.

Community Groups
Do you ever feel like a "lost sheep in the very place where you thought you'd feel more connected to other people? One way to stay vitally connected to others is to join a Community Group, a monthly gathering of friends who meet together for food, fun, and fellowship in one another's homes. Be on the look out for a Community Group coming to a neighborhood near you!

Gifts and Talents
A six-session workshop that helps Christians discover and affirm their God-given talents. Experiences will include Bible study, thoughtful reflection, modest reading assignments, and sharing positive experiences in small groups. The classes will meet twice a week for three weeks.

Newcomers Orientation
Occasional classes to introduce participants to the basics of the Christian faith, the distinctives of the Anglican/Episcopal tradition, the history of St. George’s, and the shape of a growing Christian life. Watch for more details or call the church office at 385-2150 to find out more.
