Tuesday Wake-Up Call

This class varies their studies between the upcoming Sunday’s Scripture readings, selected books by authors ranging from C.S. Lewis, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and Fleming Rutledge, and participation in some of the Essentials Bible Study courses. Please join us any Tuesday. Moms' Bible Study

Wednesdays, September 4 — December 11 | 9:00 – 10:30am in Akers Hall (upstairs) 

This fall, moms with kids of all ages will learn about prayer by reading biblical stories of conversations with God. Join us we look deeper at Moses encountering God in the burning bush, Hannah pouring out her heart to God at the temple, and Jesus taking time to pray alone during his ministry. We’ll be learning about and practicing different forms of prayer along the way. Our time together will center around warm fellowship, conversation, prayer, and of course, Scripture. This group is a great way to deepen your understanding of God’s Word and get connected with other women in a similar season of life. Richard Kew's Bible Study

Thursdays | 7:30 – 8:30am in the Library

Each Thursday morning following the Eucharist, a growing group of both men and women gather around Scripture. There is no skating across the surface as we dig deeply into Scripture, enjoy each other’s company, discuss, and grow in our faith. Bring your Bible, your brain, and your curiosity. Women's Bible Study

Borrowing from best-selling studies by Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer, Lisa Harper, Kelly Minter, and Jennifer Rothschild, our 5-session study explores crucial moments in the lives of five Old Testament figures — Esther, Gideon, Malachi, Nehemiah, and Hosea. Through their stories, we discover how God uses the lives of ordinary people for his glory and the good of his people. Join us for strength and encouragement as we study The Faithful. Friday Men’s Bible Study

Following the 7:00am Eucharist on Fridays, join us for a weekly Bible study. For the first 30 minutes of our time together, we will study the Bible. For the concluding 30 minutes we answer the question, “What has God been doing in my life this past week?” New members welcome anytime. Active Boomer Missional Community

Alternating Fridays | 5:30pm (Social) 6:00pm (Study) in Dandridge Hall (upstairs)

The Active Boomer Missional Community (ABMC) is a relational group which supports fellow boomers by providing church members, newcomers, and the wider community with a Bible study, as well as providing social engagement opportunities.  ABMC also facilitates participationg in outreach activities, including the Episcopal School of Nashville, Bellevue Community Food Bank, Second Harvest, Room in the Inn, and St. George's Mission Days.  The group gathers in-person or by Zoom every other Friday evening for study and socializing. Daily Devotional

Most Christians know that it is important to read the Scriptures on a daily basis, but are not quite sure how to go about it. The daily devotions that Richard Kew has been composing for the last 22 years fill that gap and can be used alongside the Daily Devotion liturgies in The Book of Common Prayer.
