Dr. Woosug Kang, Director of Music Ministries, joined St. George’s staff in 2016. Originally from New Zealand, Woosug came to the United States to earn his Master of Music at Yale University and Doctor of Music degrees from Indiana University. Known for his dynamic career as a church musician and a concert organist, Woosug has performed in the United States, New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom, and has led successful music ministries throughout his career. He is a founder and the artistic director of ΣLΣVΛRΣ, a professional choral ensemble in Nashville. He is actively involved as both a musician and a board member with arts organizations in Nashville and other areas.
