The Rev. Margery Kennelly
Associate Rector
Margery has most recently served as Episcopal Chaplain at the Harvard Episcopal Chaplaincy in Cambridge, MA. Prior to that ministry she was Assistant Rector at Church of the Redeemer in Chestnut Hill, MA.
Margery received her Master of Divinity degree from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in 2010, followed by an Advanced Degree in Anglican Studies from Episcopal Divinity School in 2011. Prior to her ordination, Margery was a professional portrait painter, taught drama and music in schools, and directed an acting summer camp.
In addition to sharing in overall liturgical leadership, preaching, teaching, and pastoral care responsibilities with other staff clergy, Margery brings experience and passion to spiritual direction, small group discipleship, as well as to our ministry of faith and the arts.
Margery is married to Richard whom she met while they were undergraduates at Harvard and where she graduated magna cum laude, 1987. Richard is an attorney and entrepreneur, a founding member of an innovative cleantech startup, as well as an Olympic medalist in rowing. The Kennellys have two young adult children, Julia and Henry.
