When we watch a show about Jesus like The Chosen, we might feel a little left out and think, "I wish I'd been alive when Jesus was on earth. It would have been exciting to be in his inner circle and to see him at work." But how narrow would God’s plan have been if only those twelve disciples and Mary Magdalene got those front row seats for 3 years, and that was the extent of God’s plan. God’s plan in Jesus wasn’t to limit his presence, but to unleash it – and he did so through the Spirit, who still lives within each follower of Christ, even today.
