One dimension to our faith is that we receive with faith the testimony to Jesus that eyewitnesses have handed down to us. But God doesn’t leave us to only put our faith in what others have seen and experienced so many centuries ago. We may not have seen Jesus physically during the first century, but we can meet him in our own day and time, through the power of his presence in his Word, in the sacraments, and in times of prayer.
