A worship service or liturgy is meant to connect worshipers to the spiritual dimension of the real presence of God. This is where communion takes place between mortals and the Immortal. Through communion with the Holy Spirit, miracles occur, the sick receive healing, the depressed and oppressed receive relief and freedom, and the demon-possessed receive liberation of their body and soul.
